Directions for preparation:-

Leishman's stain powder 0.15g + metha nol 100ml -

Dissolve powder in me thanol and allow to stand for 24 hours and filter.

( Staining of blood smears and connective tissues and papanicolaou's staining)

Use:- For Microscopy It is used to differentiate and identify leucocytes, malaria parasites, and trypanosomas.
