The product has a “pin hole” inner godet allowing gas to escape as hydrogen peroxide slowly degrades over time to oxygen and wa ter. This is essential as, without the outlet, some of the bottles would inevitably explode or release gas forcefully while being opened.

The plastic bag is a very sturdy zip seal secondary containment for the occasional minor leakage which may occur during transit if the box is accidentally upside down for a while. In these cases, the oxygen being released pushes out a small amount of liquid. In these cases , handle with gloves, cut the item from the bag and rinse off the liquid.
